Vinasse is a by-product of the sugar or ethanol industry. The raw material is processed to produce crystalline sugar, pulp and molasses. The molasses is further processed to get ethanol leaving Vinasses behind.

Evaporation is used to concentrate vinasse further and convert it into dry solids. In this process, the evaporators foul and disturb plant operation due to low heat transfer.

Vinasse can be concentrated to about 30 to 35 % solids concentration in a falling film evaporator and further concentration can be done in a forced circulation evaporator system.

KLAREN Technology has successfully implemented to solve the similar issue. Please read our case study here and contact us for a free feasibility report of your system.
